We're just a bunch of old blues getting together and trying to do something good

Our contributors are Cal Alumni. We come from all walks of life: legal, financial, medical, entertainment and recreational fields, and all variety of racial, ethnic and social strata. We are recruiting men and women who are linked to the University of California, Berkeley and want to improve the life of students and East Bay community members.

Our Mission

Giving to the UC-Berkeley area community in gratitude for the education & camaraderie gained at Cal

The Olden Bears Fund was established in 2020 during the Covid-19 Pandemic as our group of Cal alumni connected to consider ways to help the University of California, and the Berkeley community. We committed to establishing a charitable endeavor initially focused on supporting organizations specifically targeting both food insecurity and Cal Athletics.
